when I make these stamps, here selected rubber stamps, blocks and stencils 1981-2024, I usually start with working sketches like this Melon Book from nature sources ....there are asemic markings everywhere, in rocks, plants, clouds, water, animal skins, banana peels, dirt, old walls, shadows whatever but I have even more semantic images too...
